What Is Mewing

What is MEWING? :

Mewing is a technique in which the tongue is placed on the roof of the mouth, supposedly reshaping the jaw over time. Learning how to raise your tongue into a new resting position is the core skill of mewing. Over time your muscles will remember how to place your tongue in the correct mew-ing position. All you need is just some practice.

Benefits of MEWING :

Over time, your tongue position will eventually alter the overall features of your face, most notably the jawline. It may help relief from snoring. Me-wing is supposed to work by making your jawline more defined, which can help shape your face and perhaps make it look thinner and sharper too.

How to MEW? :

• Rest tip of the tongue in the position you say ‘NNN’

• Make sure the tip of the tongue isn’t touching the front teeth

• Make sure the middle of the tongue is touching the roof of the mouth

Breath through your nose

• Lips should be in a lip seal

• Keep your mouth closed and teeth gently touching

• Doing it the first time could be difficult. Don’t loose hope keep practicing
